Overview
To reduce setup time and prevent product loss and contamination risk, Cytiva has designed a set of feed-in and feed-out tubing (manifolds) to facilitate cell culture operations—one set for each of the three iCELLis™ bioreactor systems.
The iCELLis™ 50 bioreactor and iCELLis™ 500+ bioreactor manifolds can be aseptically connected using either Kleenpak™ Presto sterile connectors or weldable AdvantaFlex™ tubing. The iCELLis™ Nano bioreactor manifolds are connected using either weldable tubing or quick connects.
The iCELLis™ 500+ bioreactor offers two different manifold kits based on the desired recirculation/perfusion rates (high flow and low flow). The choice between high and low flow depends on the process.
