Allegro™ 50 L single-use mixer biocontainer bag includes some unique design features that significantly improve the ease of use and robustness of the single-use system while enabling efficient mixing of a wide range of solutions and high product recovery.

LevMixer™ single-use biocontainer bags include a bottom-mounted, single-use impeller that levitates during operation. The impeller is coupled with a mobile superconductive drive unit, which allows it to rotate while levitating. The biocontainer bags are made from Allegro™ bioprocess film, which is animal-derived component free (ADCF). The bags come in a variety of sizes designed to be fitted into either stainless steel or plastic mixing tanks (30 to 1600 L).

Single-use biocontainer bags for Cytiva Magnetic Mixers are made from Allegro™ bioprocess film, which is animal-derived component free (ADCF) and complies fully with USP Class VI requirements. The biocontainers include a bottom-mounted single-use impeller that magnetically couples with the mixer drive unit. The biocontainers come in a variety of sizes and are designed to be fitted into either stainless steel or plastic mixing tanks.

Cytiva offers several accessories for the ReadyToProcess™ Mixer, which can be purchased in kit form or separately. The mixer kits consist of a plastic tray (mixer holder) and mounting hardware for holding the mixer bags. Kit options include having either a heated or non-heated tray. The plastic trays/mixer holders are sold on their own if needed (20 L and 50 L versions). Also available for when photosensitive medium is used is a lid cover, MixerLid20 (20 L version only).

Disposable sealed mixing bags (M* bags) for the ReadyToProcess™ Mixer minimize cleaning, sterilization, and the risk of cross-contamination. Bags are constructed of Bioclear™ 10, an EVA fluid contact surface, 7‑layer laminated film or Bioclear 11 film, a low antioxidant version of Bioclear 10 for use with CHO cells and other cell lines.

The single-use biocontainer bags and assemblies for the Xcellerex™ magnetic mixer are constructed with Allegro™ film for its fluid contact surface and offer unique, user-centered design elements aimed to bolster durability and improve ease-of-use. This evolution in design results in enhanced safeguards, providing added protection throughout shipping, storage, and operation. Installation of the single-use system uses an air inflation mechanism, activated at the press of a button. This culminates in an economized and streamlined installation procedure, reducing risk of improper installation, defects, and leaks.
